       The reasons for the deformation of the shelves are mainly divided into four points. First, the load-bearing problem of each layer of shelves was not verified and determined before customizing the shelves, which led to the failure to select suitable materials according to the actual needs during production, resulting in the actual delivery of goods. Overweight deformation. Second, in the actual use process, the enterprise did not place the goods according to the heaviest load, and stored overweight goods, resulting in deformation of the shelves; third, in the production process of the manufacturer, in order to save costs and cut corners, the actual materials used failed to meet the required load-bearing, resulting in Deformation of the shelf; Fourth, when the enterprise uses a forklift to load and unload the goods, the collision between the forklift and the shelf leads to the deformation of the shelf.


       The main reasons for the deformation of the shelves are known, so how to use the warehouse shelves correctly to avoid deformation?

1. When designing shelf specifications, factors such as use requirements, equipment conditions, load weight, material supply and installation conditions should be comprehensively considered.



2. The dimensional tolerance, deformation and clearance of the shelf should meet the relevant standards. (The maximum allowable deflection of the column is 1/1000, and the safety factor is 1.95; the maximum allowable deflection of the beam is 1/200, and the safety factor is 1.65).



3. Use the shelves correctly. When placing the goods, put the goods according to the load bearing capacity of the shelves, and do not store them overweight. To avoid collision between forklifts and shelves, it is best to configure anti-collision equipment such as anti-collision angles and anti-collision bars.

4. Both ends of each beam of the heavy-duty shelf must be equipped with locking devices, so that the beam can be firmly fixed on the column and prevent it from being separated by an upward external force. To ensure the connection between the beam and its locking device, the normal operation of the beam lock or the tightening of the screws and nuts should be regularly checked during use, and the damaged device should be replaced in time.



5. The installation site needs to be flat without ground depression, unevenness, etc. The column feet of the shelf should be correctly fixed on the concrete foundation, and the heavy-duty shelves need to be installed with blasting screws, which are closely connected to the ground to fix the shelves.

6. The settlement value of the warehouse shelf foundation should be strictly controlled to ensure the normal use of the shelf structure. In the design of non-integrated warehouse shelves, attention should be paid to the separation of the shelf foundation and the building column foundation to prevent the damage of the building caused by the force of the warehouse shelf structure.
